- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had my initial visit and cleaning with the staff at Ankeny Dental Arts. I was very impressed ahead of time because they told me to play for 1-1.5 hours for this visit. At my previous dentists, I never was given that much time. They were prompt as when I arrived a few minutes early, they took me back right away. I met with Paula, the hygienist, and she took a detailed history of my previous dental experiences and asked about my goals. Dr. Hayden performed an examination and gave me a clean bill of health informing me that all looked good with the teeth and gums. Paula went about her way cleaning and its by far one of the best cleanings I have had. My teeth do feel squeaky clean. I went ahead and scheduled my 6 month follow up as to keep the "clean bill of health" going. Apparently they are hard to get scheduled with, I had to wait a few weeks to get in. No sense in waiting again in 6 months. Overall, I was impressed with the laid back environment, professional courtesy, and treatment experience.
